Starting off

Posted by TrueInThaBlue - December 22nd, 2018

We all start off small (at least most folks) and building a following is hard and takes time and effort. The reasons I want a following is so people can find joy in my art. I find joy in making it and thus I want it shared. The world is not kind so we must be in its stead.  Even though I am not the best, I hope there is something there.
Anyway, welcome to my TED talk.

If you want a following on here, be sure to active on other parts of the site as well. Post in the forums and post reviews. That will attract a lot more people to your profile.

Thank you. I am still figuring this out and this helps.

@zebraHumor is right, it also helps you get kind of protectors. because of zebra i also found out someone stole a post from me why back when i started out. here on NG it isn't as easy as on other sites and media's so it is hard working but with the right attitude, and just being friendly you will find the following people around you but remember a fan base isn't the most important. the people who support you (so they can be) are important as well as that you enjoy yourself. numbers don't matter people do. if you have alot of numbers but nobody really cares that it's worth nothing. but if you have only 5 followers or even friends who really love your stuff and support you that is what counts ^^ and just try to stay positive. putting yourself out there can be really scary.

Thanks for the help mate. It means a lot that there are good folks out there. I know numbers are worth nothing in the end. Let's continue onward.
